Chris Elrod is a Co-Founder and Partner of Energy Asset Advisors, LLC (EAA).  Mr. Elrod co-leads the Financial Advisory practice and is responsible for all financial advisory engagements including mergers & acquisitions, dispositions and divestitures, project financings and capital raise efforts.

Mr. Elrod’s experience is in both alternative and conventional power mergers and acquisitions and project financings in the U.S. and Canada.  During his career, Mr. Elrod has worked on transactions totaling in excess of US$ 6 billion in enterprise value.

Prior to co-founding EAA, Mr. Elrod spent almost two years at a Houston-based alternative energy start-up, focusing on solar, wind and biomass origination and M&A efforts.  Additionally, Mr. Elrod spent nearly three years at GE Energy Financial Services in Stamford, Connecticut, where he worked on buy-side transactions in the U.S. conventional power sector.

Mr. Elrod holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Yale University, speaks Mandarin Chinese & Spanish and currently resides in Houston, Texas.
